Why the Diaspora Chapter

Because living abroad should not cut you off from home or from the next opportunity. The Chapter gives you a global business community, a practical bridge to Zimbabwean and African customers, suppliers and partners, training and mentorship to grow internationally, and a place to be seen and celebrated, whether you are looking for a distributor in Zimbabwe, a customer abroad, or the right professional to introduce you. Introductions and directory listings are not guarantees of quality, returns or commercial success, so please do your own due diligence and take independent professional advice before any financial or commercial commitment.

Don’t just live abroad. Connect, build, grow and make an impact.

If you are an entrepreneur, business owner, professional, investor or aspiring entrepreneur living in the Diaspora, we invite you to join a growing community.

Diaspora questions

Who is Proverbs 31 Diaspora for?

Entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, investors and aspiring entrepreneurs living outside Zimbabwe who want to build relationships, learn and find opportunities in Zimbabwe, Africa and beyond. You do not have to be planning to return.

Do I have to be planning to move back?

No. Many women in the network live abroad and want to take part, start something where they are, or look after interests in Zimbabwe. Tell us what you want to achieve and we will point you to the right people.

Can you give me legal advice or act for me?

We do not give legal, tax or investment advice, and we do not act as your lawyer or agent. We can introduce you to registered lawyers, accountants and agents from our network. You instruct them directly, agree their fees with them before any work starts, and check every document before you pay.

Do I need to join as a member?

No. Registering your interest costs nothing and commits you to nothing. The Diaspora Chapter membership categories are Associate, Business and Corporate Partner, and their fees are being confirmed.

Can I take part from abroad?

Yes. Online sessions and the Online Community are open to you from anywhere. Gatherings are in person at 119 Drew Road, Chisipite, Harare, and many women plan a visit around an event.

What do you ask me on the form?

Your name, contact details, country, what you want to achieve, the communities you are interested in and roughly when. Never amounts, account details or identity numbers.
