This policy explains how Proverbs 31 Women in Business Network ("Proverbs 31", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information. We are part of Nematombo Holdings and operate from 119 Drew Road, Chisipite, Harare, Zimbabwe.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, WhatsApp number, email address, country and city.
• Business details you choose to share: business name, stage and sector.
• Registration details for events and membership: the event or tier you choose and your payment method (we do not store card numbers).
• Your messages to us, and any programme or community interests you tick on a form.
• Basic technical data such as your browser and the pages you visit, only if analytics are switched on.

How we use it

• To reply to you, confirm registrations and tickets, and run your membership.
• To send event reminders, programme updates and the Blog updates you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To plan events, report to sponsors in aggregate and improve this website.
• To meet legal and accounting duties.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with people who need it to serve you: our team and volunteers, payment providers, and service providers who help us send messages or store records, under duties of confidentiality. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

Forms and how your details travel

When you submit a form, your details are delivered to our team by WhatsApp or email and may be recorded in the tools our team uses to manage registrations and follow-up. Please do not send bank account details, card numbers, identity numbers or amounts of money through our forms.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as you are a member, guest or subscriber and for a reasonable period afterwards for records and legal reasons. We then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You may ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, ask us to stop using it for updates, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal duties. Write to info@proverbs31womeninbusinessnetwork.com. We handle personal data in line with the data protection laws of Zimbabwe.

Security and children

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online system is perfectly secure. Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

These terms apply when you use this website, join Proverbs 31 Women in Business Network as a member, register for an event or take part in a programme. By doing so you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Who we are

Proverbs 31 Women in Business Network is a business network for women, part of Nematombo Holdings, based at 119 Drew Road, Chisipite, Harare, Zimbabwe.

2. Membership

• There are four Individual Packages, Pearl, Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby, and three Corporate Packages, Corporate Gold, Corporate Diamond and Corporate Platinum. Fees are in US dollars and are charged per year.
• Your membership starts once we confirm your payment. Benefits are those listed for your package in the current membership catalogue.
• Membership belongs to the person or company named at registration and cannot be sold or transferred without our written agreement.
• Membership packages are for women-led businesses. The Entrepreneurs Hub is open to men as well as women.
• We may change benefits, programmes and schedules where needed and will tell members when we do. A change to the fee applies from your next renewal.
• We may suspend or end a membership if these terms or our Code of Conduct are broken. No refund is due in that case.

3. Events and tickets

• Your seat is confirmed once we confirm your payment in writing.
• Event dates, times, venues, speakers and prices may change. If we change something material, we contact registered guests directly.
• Member discounts apply to the package you hold on the day you register: Pearl 5%, Emerald 7.5%, Sapphire 10% and Ruby 15% plus one guest. Corporate Packages include delegates at member rates, as set out on the Corporate Packages page.
• A ticket is for one person unless it says otherwise. You may pass your seat to another woman if you tell us in writing before the event.
• If we cancel or reschedule an event, your booking moves to the new date or to another Proverbs 31 event.

4. Payments

Prices are in US dollars (USD). We accept EcoCash, bank transfer and card, and online payments may be processed through a payment provider such as Paynow. Corporate members may pay by bank transfer against an invoice. We send a receipt for each payment. Please pay only to the details our team confirms to you in writing, and never to a number or account sent by someone you do not know. All sales are final, as set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

5. Group purchases, trips and rounds

Group purchases, business trips, and savings, household and business rounds are organised with suppliers, travel providers and other third parties. Each one runs under its own written terms or rules, which we share before you commit and which you must accept before you join. Where those terms differ from these terms, the specific terms apply to that activity.

6. Your conduct

You agree to follow our Code of Conduct, to give us true information, and to use our website and groups lawfully. You must not misuse our platforms, send spam, sell to members without permission or share other members' details without their consent.

7. Sponsors, partners, advertisers and member offers

Adverts and sponsor placements on our website, at our events and in our channels are arranged on terms agreed in writing for each booking. We may decline or remove any advert that is untrue, unlawful, misleading or unsuitable for our community, and the advertiser is responsible for the content of its advert and for any permissions needed to use it. Offers and discounts from sponsors, partners and advertisers are the responsibility of those businesses. We introduce members to them but are not a party to your dealings with them and do not guarantee any product, service or result.

8. Intellectual property and content

The Proverbs 31 name, logo, website, Blog and materials belong to us or our licensors. You may share them for personal, non-commercial use with credit. You may not copy or sell them without our written permission. If you send us a testimonial, photo or story, you allow us to publish it with the name you give us, and you may withdraw that permission by writing to us.

9. No professional advice

Our training, mentorship, clinics and content share experience and general information. They are not legal, tax, financial, investment or medical advice. Take advice from a qualified professional before you make decisions in those areas.

10. Our responsibility

We work hard to deliver what we promise. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss caused by events outside our control, or for the actions of other members, partners or third parties. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Links and third parties

Our website may link to other sites and apps, such as WhatsApp and social media. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

12. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date below when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe may hear any dispute. We would like to resolve concerns by talking first: info@proverbs31womeninbusinessnetwork.com or +263 78 687 9015.

All sales are final. Membership fees and event tickets cannot be refunded once payment has been made, whether the reason is a change of plans, a schedule clash, a missed event or a late arrival. Please check the tier, event and date before you pay, and ask us first if anything is unclear.

If you cannot attend

You may pass your seat to another woman if you tell the team in writing before the day of the event. The seat moves to her. The payment does not come back to you.

If we cancel or reschedule

If Proverbs 31 cancels or reschedules an event, we contact every registered guest directly and move your booking to the new date or to another Proverbs 31 event.

If a payment goes wrong

If you were charged twice, or paid the wrong amount because of our error or a payment system fault, tell us within seven days at info@proverbs31womeninbusinessnetwork.com with your proof of payment and we will correct it.

This policy does not remove any right you have under the law that cannot be excluded.

Cookies and similar storage are small files that a website saves in your browser. This is how our website uses them.

What we use

• Essential storage: a small note in your browser that remembers if you closed the membership offer, so we do not show it again in the same visit.
• Optional analytics: if we switch on privacy-friendly visitor statistics, they count visits and pages without identifying you personally.

What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell data about your browsing.

Third parties

If a page shows a video or form from another service, that service may set its own cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work if you do.

We gather as women in business. This code applies at events, in WhatsApp groups and communities, on our social media and in every programme.

• Be respectful, honest and kind, including when you disagree.
• Keep conversations confidential when asked, and do not share other members' details or stories without their permission.
• Treat exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, volunteers and staff with courtesy.
• Sell with integrity: no misleading claims, pressure tactics or unsolicited promotion in groups or at events.
• No harassment, bullying, discrimination, threats or abusive language.
• Look after the venue and other people's property.

If something is not right, tell a member of the team or write to info@proverbs31womeninbusinessnetwork.com. We treat reports seriously and privately. The team may warn, remove or suspend anyone who cannot follow this code, with no refund of fees or tickets.

We want every woman to take part. We aim to make this website easy to use on phones and computers, with readable text, clear headings, keyboard navigation and descriptions for key images.

At events, tell us about any access needs when you register so we can plan with you, for example seating, mobility, sight or hearing support. If you would like a Blog post in another format, such as audio, tell us and we will do our best to provide it. The photo carousel on the home page pauses when you hover over it or move to it with the keyboard, and it stays still if your device is set to reduce motion.

If you find a barrier on this website or at an event, please tell us at info@proverbs31womeninbusinessnetwork.com or on +263 78 687 9015 and we will work to fix it.

We take photos and video at events and programmes to share on our website, social media and Blog, and in reports to sponsors and partners. By attending, you agree that we may use images in which you appear for these purposes.

If you prefer not to appear, tell the team when you arrive and we will respect that. If you would like an image of you removed from our channels later, write to us and we will remove it from what we control. We cannot remove copies that others have already saved or shared.

We publish member testimonials only with the written permission of the member.

The information on this website, in our events and in our programmes is shared for general learning. It is not legal, tax, financial, investment or medical advice, and it does not take your personal circumstances into account.

This applies especially to company registration, property, funding and investment decisions, including those made by members in the diaspora. Always use a registered lawyer, accountant or financial adviser, and check every document before you sign or pay.
